Early Periodicals Collections on Microfilm

American Periodicals-18th Century This is the first part of the American Periodicals Series (APS) and is contained in approximately 35 reels of microfilm. Georgia Southern has extensive holdings of APS II and APS III. The Guide to American Periodicals, 1741-1900 is shelved on top of the microform cabinets. Title Descriptions

Early British Periodicals (EBP) Lane Library owns a major portion of ths colleciton of 18th and 19th century British periodicals on microfilm. A guide to the colleciton and bibkography of titles is shelved on top of the file cabinest in the microforms area. Poole's Index and the Wellesley Index to Victorian Periodicals, 1824-1900 provide some indexing for this collection. Title Descriptions
