It covers 2,000 English language historical journals including selected local publications. Historical Abstracts
Covers the history of the world from 1450 to the present, excluding the United States and Canada. It provides bibliographic citations and article abstracts on all aspects of history from over 2,000 scholarly journals, dissertations and selected books.

Chronicling America: Historic American Newspapers
Sponsored jointly by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Library of Congress as part of the National Digital Newspaper Program (NDNP), this site allows you to search and read newspaper pages from 1900-1910 and find information about American newspapers published between 1690-present.

A full text history reference database designed for secondary schools, public libraries, junior/community colleges, and undergraduate research. Early Periodicals Collections on Microfilm

American Periodicals-18th Century This is the first part of the American Periodicals Series (APS) and is contained in approximately 35 reels of microfilm. Georgia Southern has extensive holdings of APS II and APS III. The Guide to American Periodicals, 1741-1900 is shelved on top of the microform cabinets. Title Descriptions

Early British Periodicals (EBP) Lane Library owns a major portion of ths colleciton of 18th and 19th century British periodicals on microfilm. A guide to the colleciton and bibkography of titles is shelved on top of the file cabinest in the microforms area.
