Historic Architecture and Landscapes of Georgia
Images of important and representative architectural sites and landscapes in the state with an emphasis on Athens and Middle Georgia. The collections, held at the Owens Library in the College of Environment and Design at the University of Georgia, consist of color slides and black and white photographs taken from the 1940s through the 1980s.

Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps for Georgia Towns and Cities, 1884-1922
Fire insurance maps created by the Sanborn Map Company that depict the commercial, industrial, and residential areas of Georgia cities. The highly-detailed, color-coded maps document the changing face of Georgia cities by depicting not only the community but also each building, block, and neighborhood. The maps detail building construction, sizes, and usage as well as city services such as water and fire services.

Vanishing Georgia
Contains nearly 18,000 photographs from the Georgia Archives documenting over 100 years of state history. Topics covered include family and business life, street scenes and architecture, agriculture, school and civic activities, important individuals and events in Georgia history, and landscapes.

Annual Reports of the Mayor of Savannah, GA, 1855-1917
Includes information on city activities and finances, commercial statistics, health, death, and illness statistics, and information on trade, public schools, weather, charitable institutions and city ordinances. The documents also include reports of the City Attorney, the Police Department (including crime statistics), the City Engineer, the Fire Department (including statistics on fires and property losses), and the Board of Trade, among others.

The database currently contains the Acts of the General Assembly of the State of Georgia for the years 1799-1999, with a few gaps.

Coverage encompasses audit reports, budget documents, monographs, newsletters, periodicals and serials from agencies including agriculture, arts, community affairs, courts, education, human resources, industry and trade, labor, legislature, natural resources and recreation. The database contains documents published from 1994 to the present.
